Treatment for the “Anthem Film”

The Anthem Film is High Tide’s moment to introduce itself to the world. Here is High Tide’s opportunity to scream from the top of the hills (or in our case, top of the Empire State Building) to exalt its outlook on life. And we’re doing it by simultaneously celebrating the exuberance of the city and it’s colorful array of citizens.

We see the inhabitants of NYC thriving! Whether it be the local citizens knowing their local hangs or the visitors that flock everday to visit the city that some say is “the center of the universe.” People coming and going, people working out, people riding bikes along the east river, some people just relaxing at Coney Island. The camera sometimes is locked off just patiently watching, and sometimes it’s ecstatically moving around, crash zooming and whip panning to keep up with it’s vibrant subjects. The editing is frenetic. We can feel the surge of electricity that emanates from the city. The city itself is a not just a backdrop but a character as well.

Shot in a highly stylized and curated manner with rich textures and saturation levels filling the meticulously composed frames. It’s gritty but exploding with life - it’s modern but with a tinge of retro flare. It’s fun, it’s vibrant, healthy and sexy.

A Voiceover tells us all about High Tide and its commitment to using only premium ingredients. The friendly voice reminds us that life is short - live it up and indulge. Soak up those rays, jump in that water! Well not THAT water - talking to you Gowanus Canal!

There’s only one thing to do when it’s High Tide and that’s to Dive in - the moment’s just right.
